ABCs of Guard

A is for Awesome. Colorguard is awesome. No questions asked.

B is for the Band. Where would we be without them?

C is for Commitment. You have to be committed to do well.

D is for Deliver. Deliver the best show these people in the crowd will ever see.

E is for Effort. You have to put a lot of effort forward, but in the end, it’s all worth it.

F is for Flags. Because they're kind of important in colorguard.

G is for Guard. Creative, huh?

H is for Heart. Put heart into all your work and make it mean something.

I is for Independence. Guard helps you on your road to find out who you really are.

J is for Jazz run, one of the many Across-the-Floors.

K is for Kickass, because guard is definately the most kickass sport around.

L is for La Salle. Because we're amazing.

M is for Mastery, because you have to master the art of colorguard.

N is for Nothing, because I can’t think of anything.

O is for One More Time, which means Ten More Times.

P is for Practice, which makes Perfect.

Q is for Quitting, which you should never do.

R is for Rifle, an awesome weapon.

S is for Sabre, another awesome weapon.

T is for Today, which is when you should be practicing guard, not sitting around on your computer reading the ABCs of Colorguard.

U is for an Unending Supply of Bruises.

V is for Victory, your main goal in competition.

W is for Wednesday, which is when LaSalle Junior Guard has practices.

X is for working Xtra hard.

Y is for You, because without you, your flag/rifle/sabre can’t do anything except sit there, and that's not very entertaining.

Z is for Zigzags. I’m not sure why.
